Got Milk?

It’s called a vanilla “shake” for a reason. According to fact-checking site Snopes, McDonald’s doesn’t use a typically key ingredient in the drink — milk. A good test would be to try one out if you are lactose intolerant. If it goes down without a hitch, chances are it’s dairy-free.
“Dairy regulations actually vary from state to state on what can officially be called a ‘milkshake.’ We like to keep it simple and refer to them strictly as ‘shakes,’” a McDonald’s spokesperson told Business Insider.
What’s gross about a McDonald’s Vanilla Shake is the gluttony. A 22-ounce shake will set you back 820 calories — more than half the recommended 1,500 calories for the day. How about some fries with that shake?
