Haggis

Haggis is a staple of Scottish cuisine. Unfortunately for those in the United States, the food is banned. Why, you ask? Haggis is a pudding comprised of sheep’s liver, lungs, and heart. So when the USDA banned importing sheep lungs for cuisine purposes in 1971, traditional haggis was no longer available.
