He even Tweeted the photo despite a company-wide policy that discourages posting photos. “I shared it because I wanted to let people know what they’re consuming and how disgusting the conditions are,” he said.

Cleaning a McFlurry machine is an 11-step process that includes a four-hour heat-cleaning cycle, according to Thrillist. That’s time consuming, but hey, somebody’s gotta do it!
