Suffolk County, NY Highway Patrol Officer Joseph Goss

A woman was driving under the influence of drugs on the Long Island Expressway, with her 22-month-old baby in the backseat, and refused to pull over for Suffolk County, NY highway patrol officer Joseph Goss. So he drove ahead of her, parked his vehicle on the right shoulder, and dove straight into her car through the open passenger-side window. He safely brought the vehicle to a stop.
The baby girl was not injured, the mother was heavily charged, and Goss was honored for his quick thinking and bravery.
