Cheesecake Factory is definitely in trouble with younger and more health conscious audiences. The food might be delicious, but it is packed with empty calories that people are just not interested in. Plus, the prices are pretty expensive and many stores are located in strange places.
In other words, the chain is losing favor with a changing demographic that is actively against the things that make Cheesecake Factory the Cheesecake Factory. It’s hard to see how it could fix this issue without a fundamental change to the restaurants core concept.
