David Bowie – ‘Diamond Dogs’

David Bowie’s Diamond Dogs is still one of the late Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer’s most widely available – and best selling – albums. However, the artwork on versions available now isn’t the original. That original paining by Guy Peellaert featured a half-Bowie/half-dog with very visible genitals. The record company quickly had the cover redesigned to have the genitals removed, but not before some “offensive” copies leaked out. These rarities can fetch over $3,500 on the open market.
