The Skinny About Their Fries

There’s a good reason why McDonald’s fries taste so yummy. It’s because they’re made with a lot more than just potatoes and some oil for frying. Some of the ingredients listed on their website, such as vegetable oil, seem logical. But then there’s “natural beef flavor.” Why do we need our fries to taste like meat?

Dextrose, which is another word for sugar, is added, too; and don’t forget about sodium acid pyrophosphate to preserve the color so they don’t turn brown. Oh, and of course they haven’t left out the salt.
