The U.S. Air Force storage facility at the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona is home to thousands of disused planes, some waiting to be repurposed and some waiting to be scrapped. Pictured here are A-10 thunderbolts — ground-attack planes — and F-15 Eagles, which are supersonic fighter jets. The planes in the background are C-5 Galaxies. They’re used for cargo.
