The Boeing 747, or the Jumbo Jet, was first introduced in 1968, and more than 50 years later it is still in production. Its second level of seating gave it the iconic design we all recognize today. While there are more and more in service with each passing year, the oldest models usually get retired after a lengthy run in the skies. This Jumbo Jet, gutted for parts, sits at a storage facility in Mojave, California.
