Christopher Reeve and Robin Williams

In 1973, only two people were accepted into John Houseman’s Advanced Program at New York City’s Juilliard School: legendary comedian and actor Robin Williams and Christopher Reeve, who would go on to play Superman on the big screen.
Reeve and Williams would remain incredibly close until 2004 when Reeve passed away. During Reeve’s years as a quadriplegic, Williams helped his family financially and paid for a portion of his dear friend’s medical bills.
Williams’ son, Zak, said they were like “brothers from another mother.”
