Quiet Cabinets
Who remembers getting yelled at as a kid for slamming cabinets or doors or the like? *Meeee!* Most of the time it was an accident, the fault of not enough tension in the spring, rather than your own heavy-handedness. What about if you’ve just put your kid down for a nap and someone comes in to grab something from a cabinet, inadvertently slamming it — and waking up a now-angry tot — in the process?
Save yourself some aural strife and soundproof your cabinet with your hot glue gun. Just glue some dots, lines, or whatever shape tickles your fancy, and once it dries it’ll be just the sound buffer you needed! And it didn’t cost you anything.
