Colored-Pencil Lampshade

Have an old lampshade you want to spruce up? You can create a fun, multicolored shade using a pack of colored pencils and your hot glue gun. Not only will it match literally anything, but a pack of colored pencils from the dollar store is a lot cheaper than a brand new lampshade.

It’s super simple: Glue the colored pencils onto the lampshade vertically, continuing until you’ve covered the whole shade all around.

Pro tip: Spend a teensy bit more on the nicer wooden colored pencils for a more rustic look.
