The Who – ‘The Who Sell Out’

When British band The Who released their third album in 1967, they decided to do things a bit differently. The band pressed 1,000 copies of the album, The Who Sell Out, with 500 in stereo sound and 500 in mono. The record itself featured fictional radio jingles between songs, as well real product logos on the cover, which led to legal troubles for the band. These issues, combined with the small print run, have made the original pressing of the album quite valuable, often fetching over four figures.
