Ice-Resistant Material for Airplanes

So here’s the thing: Ice and airplanes don’t mix at all. In fact, it’s really, really bad. And when a plane is traveling at such high altitudes, it can eventually lead to icing with the cold temperature — and sometimes moisture — in the air.
NASA knew the importance of avoiding ice on planes, which is why it has created all sorts of different products for airplanes. For starters, it has produced electrical heating designs that help increase the temperature of the wings in order to prevent ice from developing. These materials are used in nearly all airplanes now, both for commercial purposes and for smaller, individually owned and operated planes.
